Hi, that’s me over there (on the left).
My name is Alex Yellow and I’d probably best describe myself as a technology enthusiast. I’m based in Derbyshire where I live with my Fiancée and dog.
I have a broad range of experience in the IT industry, starting out in support before moving through roles including NOC Analyst, Datacentre Engineer, Systems Analyst and Application Specialist. I enjoy working with data, improving efficiency, building things and understanding how they work – and occasionally breaking them (safely).
I have extensive experience with Windows and Unix Operating Systems, databases, scripting, automation and data analysis.
When I’m not working or tinkering with personal projects, you’ll find me either walking my dog, cooking or playing card games.
